Just do it and you will get used to it. I adjusted just fine, I forget how it is like to live normal. I was sleepy when driving a lot with trainer but out on my own I wish I could drive more than 11 hours.

    Time to switch trainers!

Call dispatch or safety and take care of this matter immediately!

Not uncommon for trainees to switch trainers. Don't be afraid to do so if things aren't kosher!

I don't think so! I said then maybe it is time for me to get off your truck!

Needless to say, now I am driving all the time so I am making stops as needed.

God help me, 4 weeks left!!

    To say the least!

You need to keep your best interests in mind though. If your trainer isn't training you or is doing things that shouldn't be done, then you need to speak up and call your safety manager or DM. Its your career.

    Hang in there!

My trainer wanted to stop so he could fill his thermos. We were approx. 45 min. from Atlanta. The time was 2:15 pm. While he pissed and filled his thermos, I felt a sudden urge to go #2. When I got back to the truck (appox. 3 min after him) he was pissed. He said that it was my fault we would be held up in Atlanta traffic. I just blew him off. When we got to Atlanta we were held up approx. 15 min. total time. He kept glaring at me. I didn't like him at all, but I knew it wasn't forever. I was on my own a few days later!

These stories constantly make me realize I must have had one of the few decent trainers.
