Batteries always dead after reset

    If the batteries have been flatlined more than half a dozen times, chances are they're probably toast. Don't just toss new batteries in and hit the road thinking its good to go. Find the root cause. It could be as simple as a short keeping something powered up all the time, thus draining the batteries. Seen it lots where folks would drop $$$$ on new batteries, only to find it was a parasitic loss somewhere. By that time the new batteries are NFG as well.

    Thankfully my truck has a battery kill switch by the driver seat and an APU that kicks on if the batteries get low voltage.

    Batteries don't seem to last as long as the used to. And the manufacturers cut the Warranty time to boot!

    Interstate batteries?Even those last longer than that.Alternator maybe.
