Battery disconnect switch

    Installing one. Can I just use it to break the ground to frame? Splice it between batteries and frame. Instead of breaking the positive wire between battery and starter. Any reason not to?

    You can install on ground side. Just make sure you open all main grounds at the batteries thru the switch. Not the starter ground. Anything still grounded to the batts can still draw current.

    Just curious, why would you need one? If you have a draw draining the batteries, one should find the fault. The only reason one would be needed is an anti-theft device.
