LOUDLY!!! You do what you need to do carl.

thanks guys, they are working on resolving problems. Im gonna give them a chance to make it right. This truck would be perfect for the lowes terminal in rockford as a
day cab trk. If ya get stuck out ya still have a sleeper. But as a OTR truck this thing sucks ! no room or storage and hvac batterys might last 6 hrs if on low and nothing else on. -
-
since truck was at the dealer, and with some software updates the hvac is working ok. But I have been mostly running in the south, so Im kinda anxious to see if the
hvac system can handle some xtreme temps and how long will it last.
One thing is for certain roehl did thier homework on making this truck not idle.
best i can do is 10 to 15 minutes and that pushing the clutch in after 8 minutes or she shuts down ! Heres the best one of all, while at marshfield they had me go through new truck hvac training ! LOLS, ok for what its worth first have truck cab and sleeper at desired temp. second close both sets of curtains and turn off all electrical stuff like your cooler for food and phone or computer chargers. I was told these things should be charged and cooled during drive time. I said dude I bring all my food with me and will heat up soup or a sandwich in my 12 volt stove at night.
This guy says that I should have my hot meal during the day and a cold sandwich at night to conserve power for heating and cooling!and so the adventure continues !

So much for driver comfort! I think they seem to be forgetting that we LIVE in these trucks! -

dont have a clue what its like being a OTR or a hometime driver.
What really concerns me is roehl bought a few of these white pro stars with the small sleeper because #1 initial cost to purchase trk (cheaper).
#2 light weight trk ( can haul heavier loads).
#3 fuel savings and high mpg , no DEF required and a 0% idle policy with no auto start ( increase profit margin)
#4 battery hvac system from factory to maintain driver comfort. ( the jury is still out on this one, Im afraid driver comfort is at the bottom of the list)
#5 this is most likely a test fleet and if they do well with or without driver complaints and concerns will probably be the trk of choice. So far i have only seen one white pro star small sleeper and one red cascadia small sleeper here at roehl.
#6 If you get issued a trk and you walk outside and its one of these jewels please dont walk ,RUN AWAY and tell them your very clostraphobic ! -
If you ever get a chance to talk to some of the people in the office away from work and they express there opinion about the drivers. Its always very low. Basically its that most Roehl drivers are pretty dumb, can't be trusted, and will probably quit in a couple of months.
So if you blow off the driver who really cares sense they are for the most part too dumb to know any better or will quit in a short time anyway there thinking go's.
