the best play woulda been qualcomm. long. from .50 cents to $1400. then short it when the economy crashed in 2001. would have only taken 3 months to short. then snatched up google when it became public.
the other best play would have been berkshire hathaway class A shares.

So finally home for a day that has decent weather. But lots of work to do so couldn't take the day off. But took bike out in the morning for a short (40-miles) ride to deliver some stuff to cleaners (our small town cleaners would not have gotten it back in time for my business trip).
Then last night threw wifey on the back and went to dinner.
When heading out of town on business I will drop off for service and have everything checked out.bbblotliz Thanks this. -

This one is ready to go as you can see, but I have a 32 Vicky frame in the garage and thinking about maybe finishing it up instead. I need a toy to cruise around this summer

##### that is smooth, and shiny black paint don't tell no lies.. it certainly doesn't have any obvious ripples from bodywork. Nice ride!! Now I'm wanting to get a bad ### old car or truck but I'm such a tighwad it'll be a long time before I ever talk myself into it.. Is it mostly original?

That's a nice looking' find. Especially when they haven't been too "modernized." I've got a '50 Ford coupe torn apart in my garage that's got a long way to go before it looks as nice as that one.
-
Nice find! I still see a fair amount of '37-'39s, but you don't see '41s much. I didn't know rear windows roll down on those things.
I concur. I don't mind modernized versions if done tastefully, but it's refreshing to see stock-looking old cars these days.
