    ah, but some of us enjoy the mini-van life very well. i have raised 5 decent human beings , got 2 left at home. 33, 30, 29, 18, and 15. 2 -8 year old grandkids.

    Skateboardman - I understand what you are saying and do not have my head in the sand. I am sure it will happen, and as you can see from my posts on the forum, I am not shy about saying what I am thinking.

    When I hear this the conversation will be about they have every opportunity to find a better deal or do it on their own.

    In my 20's I was a sales person. Made over $100k per year. Never below 200% of quota. My reward for hitting quota and then my personal goal was that I would play a round of golf the next day. Many a customer service rep would complain. I told them I would support them for the next sale position that came available and they could have the same life. Only one ever did this (she never complained and she is now my wife) because the risk was too great.

    BTW, I think my ex-mother-in-law was described earlier.

    I would have started out investing in IBM , NORTEL and APPLE not a KW and PETE , WESTERN STAR.

    Interesting discussion, gentlemen. I'm glad I hijacked the thread! LOL

    When I opened my first trading account, GOOG was trading around $150. I almost bought some shares...almost.

    AAPL tanked and I lost all my gains since the beginning of the year. Oh well.

    What's really sickening to me are those people who somehow find pleasure in seeing achievers being punished when that does absolutely nothing to improve their lives.

    Yeah, this would also be the person that quoted scripture to me to support why I should not make any money and all profits should be divided up and returned to the drivers. Then to curse me up and down when I told him we would not be asking him to lease to us.
