soulman's does the same thing they smoke their own daily too
all those soulman's has been around since 74 Texas Best has been around since sometime in the late 90s

and many have locations all around the state of Texas ready are also located in fuel stops.. are within just a quick couple of steps from a fuel stop..

Just my own opinion, but it seems to me that when getting BBQ, i prefer a BBQ place that has a line like a cafeteria vs a sit down and order from a server. Just seems like a better plate of meat, and you can get larger helpings of sides. And the price seems a better value.
I have eaten at 10 of the Soulman's locations and the all seem comparable.
Baker's Ribs in Caddo Mills, TX I-30 X87 by the Pilot is another good place. And they have truck parking behind the building. -

yes and both of the ones with all their locations are that way soulman's and the Texas Best chain.. Texas Best now opening up a few more locations in truck stops.. just like soulman's with the sunglassesed pig. Texas Best yellow letters and logo is becoming quite recognized -
The Mikesa brothers have a bunch of places around the state. Each of the brothers Places are a bit different, but over all have about the same menu. A few are in fuel stops or have parking. One is just a 2 minute walk from parking.

I disagree: When we lived in Paducah Kentucky; the BBQ there was smoked, then you added whatever sauce you chose too. That was a different style than the Texas kind where it’s cooked on until it becomes a sweet, sticky, glaze. Both are great, just different styles. Doesn’t mean it’s not “real BBQ”........ just sayin...
