...or since they have downsized the dog food bags like about every other product, it is also like getting rid of carrying 6 gallons of milk. That is the image (though my goal is 3) that I use.

Great news Scooter, keep it up!!! You have "the formula", just work it gradually.

Losing the weight is 1 problem.
Not regaining that lost weight is another bigger problem.
    Not easy.

That's the ago old problem. But you can't have the 2nd part of the equation without the first ;-)

Losing weight as a truck driver, especially a window licker like me, is NOT easy. So, I have to pat myself on the progress I've made so far, even if it is the same 47lbs I've lost and regained several times over the last 30 years of my life LOL.

One has got to just get up off the mat and try, try again.

The only reason I'm even posting this experience here is because there might be someone reading who's struggling to get or stay motivated with the same problem. Sort of like a WW group instead of an AA group ;-)

If it helps only person to stop and think about their diet ,it will be worth it.
    Overweight is a big killer.
Not only for the stress the extra weight puts on the body but more for the poor diet behind it.

Good deal, keep up the trend. Taking off weight is the easy part. Keeping it off, now thats the hard part.
Heres one thing, it took a while to go on, gonna take a while to come off.

Was listening to an NPR interview with Willie Nelson tonight, about his new album that has just come out. One of his songs, I thought, was very profound and pertinent to a theme that has been expressed on this thread. Had to do with him being 85, and seeing so many friends pass on.

Death, you may not get over it but, you will get thru it.

Kind of rang true with me.

Unloaded and deadhead back to the yard to pick up a preload that was supposed to be waiting...it wasn't. Been setting here waiting over 3 hours with my clock just ticking down.

Ah, trucking. Ain't nothing ever certain.

That ain't trucking. Thats trucking with a sub par company that doesn't have their ducks in a row. The crap youve dealt with the last couple months is flat out not acceptable.
