BD69: The Owner Operator Chronicles

What? Dave challenged me to a fight? He's 6'-2" & 220lbs? Whoa! He must be a hunk of a man!

Little does he know I was Bruce Lee's sparring partner, was an Olympic Gold Glove winner in the '72 Olympics.

Not only that, my current bodyguard is BrokeDown 69er. I take him on all of my autograph signing tours. Nobody gets by him without paying first! He's a retired Navy Seal!

Besides, Dave obviously never learned from the few female partners he had, or maybe male partners in his case, that SIZE DOES NOT MATTER!

Okay, I don't normally do this kind of stuff, however, I'm going to post my recent photo from the Mid-American Truck Show to prove my point

 

Unloaded in Auburn, WA this morning. Posted my truck. Ring, ring, ring, "hello, this Joe Blow from Nolan Transportation...I have a load from Tacoma, WA to West Salem, OR area...$600."

Me, "not interested for $600, my price is $800."

Joe Blow, "man, we can't pay that, thanks anyways."

So, I book a load 5 minutes later for my price. Take a peak on the board an hour later, and guess what? The guy from Nolan repost his load for $800.

SMH. Reality is, he'll probably have to pay more than that now.

 

Looks like he went back and edited it to no longer read quite as aggressive.

@Broke Down 69 ... i brought my mom home from the N/H or whatever its called, for the weekend. Wife and son are off today so she's in good hands for awhile......This is some TOUGH stuff.

Think I'll just stay home thru the 4th and see what the end of the week holds.

 

I've got to work tomorrow too, kinda sucks. Gonna miss the tractor pulls and the fireworks, but oh well.
