Maybe you could do a good wash, then a good wax and shine. You know winter is just 16 weeks away.

I'd be all over that but we got in and out rain for the next couple days.

Down here that's the only time yoh can wash a truck. Doing it on a clear day and you end up with streaky soap spots every where. It dries faster than you can rinse it off.

Vic Firth, Shock Therapy and Feedman Thank this.

Thank God that's over. I was ok until the honor guard started folding the flag. When Taps was blown I had to fall back on military training to not break down and cry.

Lawyer meeting tomorrow at 0930, then I'll be getting ready to go back out, and that's the best medicine right now.

I hear ya, man. It was all I could do at my uncle's funeral to not lose it. His wife didn't even give two hoots about his military service, so I had to do the arrangements.

Oxbow, Al. Roper, Tug Toy and 4 others Thank this.

    Best wishes BD.

I had several uncles serve in WWII and Korea. One uncle worked many years in the Pentagon, retired a Lt. Colonel. He could have been buried at Arlington Cemetary but chose his church cemetary. Another uncle who was Air Force in Korea, worked many years as a horticulture professor and golf course consultant chose the military cemetary at Ft. Snelling in Minneapolis rather than his church of 50 years. I bought a display box for my aunt’s flag.
