I hear good things about both. And both are on the dot banned list so would have to take time off from work. Not a big deal, instead of working two weeks and taking two off I'd just have to work 6 to 8 and then take 8 off.

 

That's because our diet is what causes heart attacks. Overweight people just tend to eat more of the bad stuff and obviously don't get any exercise. My brother in law had one and he's 6'3 and only weighed like 235. He was in pretty good shape, or so we all thought. I'm way overweight but dropping pounds slowly and I'm a prime candidate for heart disease. I went to the ER about 5 years ago thinking I was having a heart attack. Turns out I wasn't but they wanted to run some tests on me anyway because of my age, size, and family history. It probably saved my life, or at least saved me from having a heart attach because I found out what kind of condition my body was in.

I've also done a lot of my own research, because most doctors still believe cholesterol causes heart attacks, and I wanted to learn as much as I could about why heart attacks happen so I would know how to give myself the best chance not to have one.

That's the only real way to do it. We can do anything once we MAKE THE DECISION to do it. Using an aide only works if the person has made the decision to quit. Otherwise they will be right back to smoking. The aides can help but nothing will work long term until we decide to do it.

I suspect since the death of his father, BD is dealing on about 5 or 6 different fronts right now and posting on an internet forum is on the bottom of his list right now.

 

Between that and getting engaged I'd guess his plate is pretty full.

 

Agreed Scooter, he’s had a lot to deal with.

 

Maybe dad smoked for 30 years until he had a heart attack. That scared the crap out of him the doctor told him he has to quit. Once he came home from the hospital he said no more smoking and just quite no pills no patches no nothing.

 

Was just funning. No doubt he has a lots to do other than post.
