Nope. Turns out I'm an idiot. Probably a good idea there, Spyder.

I wouldn't say your an idiot. You just like to learn the hard way. You know why my house has a shut off valve? Cause we went on vacation in December one year and shut the furnace off cause why heat a house for a month if no one is home. Got down to minus 10 in Ohio while we was on the beach in st martin. Now that was a mess to come home to.

Least I'm not heading to NE during this storm, just MN. Dang, really wanted a load going south, wanted to swing under the storm and come in behind it.

I shut water off and wrap pipe between basement floor and valve. In case furnace turned low quits. Had that happen once, luckily remodeling at the time anyway.

Well, we've picked up the run into and out of Montana on a regular basis, every two weeks as it stands now, and I'm going to be the man running it. It's an 8 day run and I can still pick up a couple loads in between and then take a couple days off. Financially it's a big jump in revenue, which is never a bad thing, but more importantly to me is the chance to regularly run into and out of an area I love.

Other than that, not a lot new to report on. Truck is doing great and I'm getting more and more comfortable running my own show. Guy I'm leased onto has allowed me complete freedom at this point to run what and where I want so I'm living the best of both worlds. OTR and local, never more than 8 days away from home.

Hope y'all didn't get buried by this storm.

    More later...

20 inches of snow in my driveway. Used my new snow thrower for the first time this snow season.

Thanks, Brother. It has, at times, been a bumpy ride but I'm still plugging away at it.
