Ive caught a 25 lb cobia under the 75 bridge. They taste great. Normally i go to the flats for snook and redfish. The best real calm day im gonna venture out to the reefs in the harbor. Or maybe a couple deep holes famous for tarpon.

Over here in CT this morning overcast. At my house 5" of snow fell last night. Wife not happy.

High wid advisory for all of Socal. Steady 40+ gusts over 60. Tomorrow expected to be worse. I'm about ready to park and wait on some good weather. Problem is, I haven't seen any good weather for 6 months.

Been setting at B&D in Redlands for 2 hours and ain't nothing happened yet. Looks like I'm going to reload for Chicago, Muranos, at some point. Been getting handed some pretty tough schedules here lately and setting like this doesn't help a bit.

Lost my get out of town load from here do to a 5 hour breakdown yesterday. Now looking for a decent paying load to get me outa here.

Well, it took those yahoos 4 hours to get me unloaded and dispatch can't get their crap together and get me usable reload info. Looks like a 4 pick that runs me all the way up into Central California before I get started back to Chicago...but they can't get anyone on the pipe at the first stop for an appointment. Then blames me for a blizzard and not running a bunch of free miles to get around it, AFTER I consulted with them about the timing of the storm. I'm pretty well pissed off at this point and have no intention of running myself ragged to make up for all this nonsense. This will be my last trip to California and this dispatchers territory.
Panhandle flash, Shock Therapy, intrepidor and 2 others Thank this. -
Hope you made it out in one piece.
I've been home since Friday evening. Was going to do a short run yesterday but the water company informed me that we were sure going through a LOT of water on their most recent meter reading.
Turns out a brass threaded compression nut had cracked on the check valve and appears to have been dumping about 1,500 gallons of water a freaking day and we had no idea. My son and I were out there past dark last night fixing it.
Oh well, such is life.Oxbow, Broke Down 69 and Shock Therapy Thank this. -
This is what ill be doing the rest of April and through may every chance i can get. Fast forward to about 11:30. That spot is right here near me, 20 minutes from my driveway to the ramp and about 30 minutes in the boat to that spot.
