I'm about at my wit's end with this problem. Cummins engineers are now involved and I can hear them scratching their heads over the phone.

Dispatch is pissed off with me because they can't rely on me...that hurts worse than the money I'm losing trying to sort this out.

Hoping they figure this #### out, I'm about ready to get on a plane and go home for awhile.

    More later...

Hmmmmm, so does dispatch think that your deliberately screwing up your truck? If not, why should you feel bad? Not counting the money you've spent, of course.

They have their issues too, freight has to move and if my truck keeps laying down then it's sort of understandable that they'd quit relying on me.

Just can't figure out what to do.

Can you borrow a ECM from the compagny?
If they have a truck that is down for a while or a wreck?

Broke Down 69 and Shock Therapy Thank this.

I don’t know why the company would be mad over a truck that’s not working properly. Especially after it being in theire shop a couple of times for the same issue and them not being able to fix it correctly.

Well @Espressolane wins the fried chicken dinner. ECM is packed full of oil. In a Hail Mary, they're trying to clean it and hope for the best. If it faults out again it will require replacement...and it's a hellishly expensive part. So it appears all the money I spilled on it up to this point was pretty much wasted.

    Big trucks, big bucks.

I've joined the REALLY annoyed club today. Had a bunch of write ups on my truck before I left on vacation, assuming all would be fixed by now. Called to check on Friday, and according to dispatch, shop never told them about. Truck went to dealer on Saturday, and still isn't back. Supposedly 1700 tonight. If I had known that earlier, would've just taken another day. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yep. Well, seems like I have two options. I can cry like a little ##### or I can reach down deep, grab some sack and work even harder. Since I don't know how to quit, gues its sack grabbing time.
