Your becoming an expensive friend I think. 1st you bring bad weather with you, and now your causing trucks to break. Lol

Now that I'm finally back in my truck, Apu has decided to go belly up. Boss willing to pay for a room, but trying to get my stuff moved back in and set up.

PPLC, Broke Down 69 and Shock Therapy Thank this.

Yeah, that thought has crossed my mind as well. This truck has really given me fits it fortunately I listened to those far more experienced than me and made sure I had sufficient funds in reserve to weather a storm. Things will improve, I'm sure of it, but this has been a seriously bumpy start.

A guy I know called me today. He's been fighting with a 2012 Mack he bought over 3 years ago. Injectors, harness, more injectors same problem.

Turns out now the head is cracked. He told them to put it back together, he called the finance company (Schneider) and told them to come and get it.

He's filing for bankruptcy and going back to work as a company driver for 0.38 a mile.

    This business can be brutal.

Well, I would have liked to be wrong on that.
But I still want the chicken dinner.

The money spent was not actually wasted. What you got into was the cascade of things. Some of the parts were headed south. Better to get them done before they fail in the worst place.

Have to say, the main harness is now suspect, oil making it all the way to the ECM says that oil is still in the harness. Still has the potential to seep into the ECM.

I do have something to say about the shop mechanics.
They missed a big sign. When they did the injectors, they should have checked the harness. They would have found it full of oil, that would have triggered further investigation.
Could have saved a lot of time and money for all involved.
Think I would be having a discussion about charges.

Hey, not trying to be all gloom and doom, it will get better.
