    I agree ! And hate to say it but I've quit having the company shop do some of my work for a few reasons ...one of which includes sloppy lube work

    I wouldn’t necessarily say that. Those ISX’s weren’t known for being trouble free engines unfortunately.

    Cummins has had a real host of problems on the SCR engines. Seems that 2010 to 2015 was a big learning curve. From what I can tell. In 2016 they turned the corner and started getting things right, or it so seems. These newer units have been a lot less problematic.

    I would not put it as neglected just yet. Service records would be the thing to check. Then you can never tell for sure. This is the chance you take when buying a truck. Mechanical things wear.

    Have to admit It would be nice to see them. From some of the things that have been worked on, you gotta ask some questions. Oil making its way to the ECM takes a bit of time, and it would have some things happening along the way.
