I would like to be wrong here, knowing your expenditures of late. I think you will need to be looking for a new harness section, and possibly an ECM. You can get a reman ECM for reasonable money. Thats one advantage to having a cummins. Parts O plenty. The other side of that is the cascade. When some of this electrical carp goes, it takes out other stuff along the way. You fix this only to find that.

Know the owner of a moderate sized company, has all petes with cummins. Went in to a power shop we both use, he was in getting a truck, got into a conversation about engine problems. Tells me that in 2016 the company spent just over 3 Million dollars on repairs related to engines only. Most of it was related to and or caused by emissions equipment. Almost half was some form of electrical device. Sensors and wiring.

Meanwhile the dealers build nice new shop facilities and laugh all the way to the bank. The manager at my local dealership told me the emission trucks were the greatest thing that ever happened for dealerships.

I started to pop him right on the end of his nose...

He only had 5k in the box. 10 mpg with a light load in an aero truck has been par for the course for nearly 30 years, its what took detroit from just another engine builder to holding the vast majority of the market share ever since the early 90s.
