Oh and make sure you've got the tools to extract broken bolts.

I had a dream last night about a big cam 400 in a crate that you put in.

Loading this afternoon at a pretty good sized shipper. Big sign that reads, "NO SAFETY VEST...NO LOAD."

I watch this fella walk all the way across the parking lot, head up the stairs to check in, looks right at the sign and keeps going to check in. So, I point to my vest, then point back to the sign, he just shrugs his shoulders and keeps going.

A couple of minutes later he walks out and all the way back to his truck. Makes his way back with a shiny new safety vest on.

I shouldn't be so critical I guess. It's obvious the guy just can't read English.

What are the symptoms you are experiencing?
Is this still related to your prior #3 misfire.

It was related. There are 462 points of inspection on my main wiring harness. At point 455 they found a problem. So, new wiring harness, provided free of charge by Cummins, was installed. Fingers crossed.

Good deal. Do hope that cures the ailments.
Just curious, who did the engine?
Kind of interesting that they had a field engineer out.
The company must have a good relationship with cummins.

Engine was done in our shop. There's a big Cummins house in Omaha with a couple in house engineers, one of them came over after phone consultations proved fruitless.

Got a load to Wisconsin, reload there coming back to Omaha. Then, if the truck is holding up, I'll be headed to my favorite place...California. I've got to put together a series of good settlements to build my business account back up, it's taken a pretty good shellacking in the past 2 months and the Cali stuff pays well in both directions.

    More later...

You’ve definitely had your fair share of expenses, hopefully things turn around!
