    Funny and exaggerated but let me tell you....One season I was trailering a boat to the boat launch to put into the water used by fishermen with those 30,000.00 high speed low to the water with 150 hp merc outboards. I swear if you didn't have your boat in the water in 30 seconds form the time you started your back. They were on you. I would watch them launch those boats, one guy would be in the boat setting on the trailer . Another would be back it into the water and once the transom would touch water, the guy would fire up the boat and take off as the boat cleared the trailer. Since that time I have been docked at a marina. Ah marina life.

    Hope everyone is having a good day. The weather here at home in S. Oregon is absolutely perfect today. I'm out and around running errands. After my car wash finishes, I'm heading over to my favorite weekly run, Costco! LOL

    One of these days I'll figure out how it is everytime I have the Rocky Mountains between me and the end of my day, I cover 640+ miles. Today featured a major slowdown just west of Denver and quite a bit more road construction than the last time through. Glenwood Canyon, westbound, is a total mess of barrels, Jersey walls, ridiculously slow speed limits and absolutely nothing happening. Not a shred of evidence of any work done or being done. Jumping up early to run into Vegas for a day off and a little fun

    Have a friend that works for UDOT.
    They do not work Fridays or Weekends.
    They do have a few on a call rotation for the extreme emergency situations.

    Woke up this morning in Utah, it was 34 degrees. Scared me a little so I checked the radar to make sure I hadn't ginned up snowstorm.

    7 hours later and I'm in Vegas at 1130. It's 105. That ain't right. Fearing sickness I think medicinal whiskey and blackjack are in order...lol.
