Be "On Time"

Oh OK I misunderstood.So how many days do they issue it for and are permits expensive?

 

KS permits are not expensive but for superloads they require front and rear escort for every mile traveled and the is expensive

I avoid Kansas when possible - so if I remember correctly the permits are good for 3 days or it could be 5 days

It from the time you order it - they will wait 3 business days(minimum) before they issue

 

Wyoming is funny. I was missing some paperwork and the Cheyenne POE said I could have it faxed to them. My office doesn't have a fax, and they couldn't believe that my office could be so behind the times, that it didn't have a fax! And here I'm thinking, didn't faxing go out in the early 90's? They said I could email it to them though. Only problem was, nobody there knew what the email address was..

 

Do all your loads require pilot?What do you haul?

 

I got a $35 all in one printer from wally world several years ago. Loaded at a place last summer next to a guy who had to find an out of the way place to drop trailer and bobtail all over creation to get faxed permits. This is after having to drop the trailer before loading to go buy a bunch of moving blankets to wrap before tarping.

Amateur. Time is money. I thought everyone knew that.

 

Faxed? With wireless printers having the ability to print from a smart phone. Faxes at $2 a page should only be used in emergency.

 

I'm not smart phone savvy I didn't know you can fax from a smart phone.

 

+1. The absolute worst is having to shutdown on the outskirts because of a 4:00 - 6:00 curfew in the winter. The AM curfew is from 7:00 - 9:00 and the sunrise isn't until 7:00.
