    That's too bad. It's a great hobby! I even made a little bit of money at it. But for me the best part had to be the people I met at craft shows and stuff like that.
    Getting to work with some really exotic material, taking scraps of wood and turning them into practical pieces of art is fun too! I never thought a pen/pencil set was a good gift until I received my first pen from a friend. Now everytime I use that pen I can't help but smile as I remember the person that gave it to me. I still have that pen, put many ink refills in it, it is over 12 years old now!
    Funny how people only lose things that have little or no meaning/value to them. I have never lost one of my pens!
    Although I have certainly given away a lot of them.

    She is planning on taking it up as a major hobby when she retires in a few years. She really enjoyed making them and I was surprised when she stopped.
