Becoming a freight broker or agent?

    Hello, I'm trying to expand myself and am wondering how to become a freight broker or agent? I work for Landstar and am considering on my family member to become a agent... I know their is schools for it, but am wondering where and what to do... Any agents out there to point me in the right direction?
