So, what happens when you buy a truck? Money magically appears? Not trying to be a buster, BUT....

Do you want to be successful in business or do you want to feel as if you are on the receiving end of buttsex every hour of every day? You have ZERO idea of anything trucking related. What happens if you buy the wrong truck?

“How will I know it’s the wrong truck, Six?”

Exactly. But in your mind, all you have to do is buy a truck and suddenly the stars will align and money will pour in. Right? Instead why not learn the business in someone else’s truck? That way, you would at the very least learn how to spec a truck.

“But Six, I heard so many horror stories about mega carriers and whatnot.”

It’s much easier and safer to go the Dumb and Dumber route than to pay for everything and still be Dumb. Do you want to be good at what you do, or do you want to get porked on every street corner in every town you visit?

Call any insurance company for the insurance quote.
Hi. I'm Coleman, just graduated from the truck driving school, zero experience.
I have (look any truck you like in Truckpaper.com) for $$$$$.00
    Plus 100,000,00 cargo insurance.
    What is my total?

Lol my driver who worked for me for four months, just quit and bought his own 2016 Volvo ISX with 450k miles, gonna have some overseas dispatchers getting him loads.
When I asked him how much money does he expect to make, rpm, expenses, all that stuff, he basically just said "Oh, it's gonna be enough no matter what, there is no way an o/o can make less than a company driver".

    Are people really that naive?

Not to rain your parade OP, but there are guys with experience that have failed after going out on their own.
