CURE FOR BEDBUGS: See my avatar!
Big Don, skellr, biggare1980 and 2 others Thank this. -
You can wash everything of yours in bleach and leave it out in the sun if possible. I got scabies one time in Big D. My favorite memory of TX.

Exactly! The truck i was assigned last week has a big stain on the mattress.....I have not slept in the truck yet!
The cabinets still had dirty clothes in them that i threw in the dumpster.
I told dispatch to order a new mattress and consider me as a day cab until the new one comes in.
I soaked the entire interior with Lysol and Clorox clean up but will not consider putting in my bedding until i get the new mattress.
What a shame a 2012 truck with only 100k on it could be so nasty.
I made them pay me hourly for cleaning it too. They will also be paying Hotels for now!NavigatorWife, The Challenger, Logan76 and 2 others Thank this. -
The temp inside the truck will need to be above 120 for 6 hours. The bedbugs are in the crevasses around the sleeper. Just replacing the mattress won't solve the problem.
And washing/drying your clothes will get rid of them in the clothes. Chunk all suitcases/bags you have used inside the truck.
Your company can hire a pest control company to eradicate them, while the truck in at the terminal.NavigatorWife and flightwatch Thank this. -
I agree with EZ Money. I would not sleep in the truck until the shop had taken care of the mattress and a thorough clean up job. Its a darn shame when people cant be clean. My mother always told me Cleanliness is next to godliness.
KHNavigatorWife and EZ Money Thank this. -
EXACTLY the reason I would NEVER share a truck,or have anyone IN my truck, that is SO SO SO DISGUSTING!!!
platinum Thanks this. -
Amen to that driver!
We keep our house clean and I dang sure am not living in a nasty truck.
I am talking to another company right now who has brand new trucks coming in that I will be assigned one.
I believe in keeping the inside spotless and would love to start out with a brand new 2014 model.NavigatorWife, Logan76 and The Challenger Thank this. -
