omg! that is just too nasty. surely that would be a health and safety issue that the company would be responsible for? i don't even know if we get bed bugs here in oz. but i'd be worried about diseases. they suck blood like mosquitoes, don't they? so do they spread viruses and stuff like mosquitoes? and the previous driver who left the truck in that state should most definitely get canned!! how disgusting :|

Except for a new truck, I have always re-cleaned the truck I am assigned...and in almost every case, I end up running through a bottle of Lysol and about 16 washcloths. The worst I had was from Lessors Inc. The T700 they gave me was absolutely nasty. I remember pulling off the brake knobs and it looked like somebody had drizzled caramel all over them. It also had roaches. They are also the only company that I've seen that does not swap out mattresses between drivers. The best was JCT. The Cascadia I got from them was spotless.

What's worse is sitting in the tv lounge at a Flying J and seeing one crawling on you. If you want to live with them that's fine but please keep them in your truck.
