Aren't they importing honey also because they say it's cheaper. I know taste makes a difference in price. Didn't China get in some crap over that a few years back about bootleg honey

Unleaded please. Oh I read in one of the Thailand forums that China is even learned how to make fake rice with potatoes corn and chemicals. They mix in with real rice. Bigger profit margin

These guys are coming from South Dakota and headed to California.

Not sure of the rate on these as I'm company driver but the owner-ops I'm hauling with say it's decent.

Kind of a pain. As said earlier, they only load/unload in wee morning hours typically so the bees are docile and more "cooperative".

Gotta run sunrise to sunset and keep stop times to minimum when it's warm, above 65 or so. We had to take a longer route through Nevada to stay in cooler weather. Running through Vegas is strictly forbidden!

Agriculture check-point in Cali to ensure no fire ants and certain mischievous beetles are mixed in.

Oh, they easily find ways out of the mesh tarps especially when it's warmer. I left a sprinkling of these things my entire route...kinda like bread crumbs!

Luwi, yep with the chemicals mixed in it was a type of plastic. Whole new meaning to Rice Krispies lol

Why do they do that, to escape land and farming costs?

I did last summer. I was lucky because while I was waiting for the repair truck to arrive it rained. This cooled the bees. Other wise sitting in the sun for an hour could have cooked the ones in the middle of load.

I did not have a bee suit neither did the repair guy. We just got under trailer and did what was needed. I had a spare mounted on a rim, so it didn't take long. Neither of us got stung. Lucky I guess.
It is hard not to do, but don't swat at the bees and most times they won't sting.
