How to get bee hauling experience when everyone's looking for (already) experienced bee haulers?

Find a wild hive out in the woods and stick your head up in it. If you survive, you should be good to go.

All joking aside, I would imagine you should find somebody already hauling bees. Get to know them and let them show you the ropes. They should then be able to help you get started. That is unless they are very protective with competition. If that's the case, you're probably on your own.

I followed this truck in South Dakota through a town with few stop lights before I could get around him. Look close and you'll see a few hundred bees clinging on the OUTSIDE of the net. There were large clusters of a few thousand outside the net on the sides.

Bees were in the air. Funny seeing cars pull up at stop lights and be frantically closing their windows.

That's a great idea. I'll bet the chances of getting red lighted at a scale drop dramatically if you are right bee-hind a bee hauler.

Why? Its no worse than many other types of live product. Bee haulers get stung, horse haulers get bit and kicked, cattle haulers get broken ribs. Heck for that matter, most open deck guys have caught a binder once or twice.
