Been on Elogs for 3 weeks now.....

    Sorry must edit to read... No miles, no money, can't do anything but cry...

    Yeah. I liked my elogs too.

    ON LAPTOP. Does the thinking for me. And DON'T tell me when my next bowel movement is.

    According to omnitracs. We are exempt from the new law. YAYYYYYY

    Only exempt for an extra 2 years. After that, everyone will be on ELD's.

    Unless those exemptions are in the works to be changing. I didn't see anything.

    Drivers who use timecard exception and short hauls. Are exempt. Along with driveway/towaway operations.

    If that law changes in 2 years. I'd like to see a link stating such. PLEASE.

    Sorry for not making myself plain. Was talking about the elogs themselves. Was going off the fact that you mentioned omnitracs.

    Omnictracs was the first link i clicked on when trying to find out if there were any exemptions as to company size. You all once mentioned size of fleet but looks like even one truck operations have to have eld.

    We only have 6 trucks. 3 haul dirt for renting to constructions jobs. Or leasing. And us other 3 are still hauling the liquid waste from the food plant. Then i was looking for short hauls.

    I'll have my wife get herself CDL and she bring me home from Bolingbrook IL My wife will bring daddy home and daddy will drive Honda Civic behind her... She won't leave daddy in that dark gloomy Bolingbrook truck stop. No No!
