    Anybody have VDO roadlog, or Linxup? Would like to here some input on these two devices.

    It's all depending on how the carrier decided to provision them. Ours update log status continually while awake, and goes off after 3 hours of key off, and stays off until the key is turned on. Other fleets turn off after so many hours then boot up every x hours to check for messages and send log status updates.

    I second this. I've had issues with my Qualcomm screen going black and freezing. Always while the truck is running down the road. Usually I can park it and reset the system by turning the truck off and on, it'll reset itself usually. It always happens when you least want it to happen though: when you're close to actually beeeing to change duty status...

    Mine loses reception a lot in the mid-west, so I wouldn't say it's few and far between...

    Sounds really great does it automatically shut down your truck when your 11 hours are up that'd be really dangerous if your caught on the middle of the highway.
