Been reading here for hours

I know in some companies it may be a requirement but daily messages are annoying. With the company I'm at now is great, my dispatcher gives me a load and unless I may be late I don't hear from him until delivery. Dispatchers can see where we are, see our logs and how we run average. Seeing that our appt is at 10am, its now 0600 and we came off our 10hr 30min ago and we're like 120miles out and asking if we will make it on time is very annoying. Not trying to be rude. But all in all, don't treat us like we are dogs an you're doing us a favor. (previous company, he got fired because of me. so disrespectful of the guys who make the company keep going) Some times we may sound rude but don't take it to heart we deal with more drama in 10 minutes than a 16 yr old girl in a school year (there are some drivers you'll run into who are just rude regardless) If you see a driver wants to work hard let him, 200-300mile runs that are two day are pointless save em for the lazy ones. fight for your drivers.

 

Why are you worried about what drivers want ? Your main obligation is keeping the shippers satisfied.
