I said if you're lucky it's 11 to 12 hours. But there are delays and they definitely cut into profits.

Not to mention the fact that you now have to sleep in the truck for the rest of the week and possibly your 34-hour restart all because you had to sit on your ### during a delay

Now you know what the load should really be paying. :)

I'd like to think this is an opportunity to make things better for all of us... Doubt we cone come together enough to make the change.

Sounds like an awful schedule, and that 6th day is what is F’ing you. I’ll never again work for a company where I work that much. My 60-62 in 5 days is too much honestly but I make good $, love my route, and actually like the people I work with for a change. But eventually I’ll find a lighter schedule. Work to live not live to work.

I never get stuck sleeping in the truck or laid over because I work 5 days and can roll out the 16-hour exception 1 day a week in an emergency. Look for something else, 6 days and 70+ hours with elogs blows...

Do you want help or do you want to continue mewling?

"Help? What kinda help? I've been doing for X amount of years, and..."

If you're losing 30%in just a week, your previous operating system wasn't too efficient. If you want help, ask for it. Cease the mewling tho...it is unbecoming of an adult.

This is proof once again of how eld is the savior of trucking we all need.
The difference between an outlaw and an legal super logger. Is the outlaw gets from point A to point B, without needing to drive fast. And the super logger or elogger can not get from the same point A to the same point B without driving like Dale Earnhardt in Daytona. NASCAR is for the track. Not the interstate. Even though drafting someone's bumper in congested traffic makes you feel like Ricky Bobby, but your just not.
    Thanks Elogs.

The problem is not the eld. It's the hos rules.

So are they going to fix the HOS issues to make ELD more awesome than it currently Is? I'd bet my last penny that answer is a big fat NO.

No they are not going to change the HOS rules until people quit whining over the eld and focus on the real issue.
