Been using the ELD a week now

Im sorry but thats ridiculous. Should the fda give money to butchers to buy mandatory cleaning equipment or supplies? The primary issue is owner ops want to be treated as a local cash business (do as you please) but operate in nationwide federally regulated sector. This isn't bobs grass cutting. Its the cost of doing business, you don't get to be a surgeon if you want to get drunk a hour before cutting time, we track planes and trains, ect.. i offer this challenge to any hater of eld,

Assuming your running legally, what does elds do to cause you to lose money?

(Note, i disagree with current hos, thats not the question)

But right or wrong if your eld crap out you do know you have to keep a paper book in your possession right? Paper is more reliable it’s been proven for years and years

 

We are criminals. According to the top big wigs. This is what Elog was originally designed for. Because Werner had such a bad safety record back in about 1989 that big brother told them if they did not fix the issue they were going to be shut down. Werner patented the original elog system. Werner was the first all paperless fleet.

 

I know, but thats not the point. You cant change the argument just because you dont have a response. Being watched cant be it. There is not some guy watching your dot move and saying GOTCHA! It just isint happening. There is no sudden enforcement of hos, the rules have been there for a #### long time. There are no new rules. No mandatory reduction in pay. If your leagal, there is no difference. If your not? Guess you better start hauling illegals in your bunk to make your extra cash... its not about big brother. Weve been in there house basically forever, is it a surpise that they want more oversight?

These guys on here have been running Eld and just want everybody else to feel their pain. Slow trucks,Eld,Low pay,next eld truck I see with that sticker on the side speeding trying to find a place to park. In going to upload my video of it. Eld suck I’m a owner of a truck and will tell you when all the paper guys utilize them parking spots for that full 10hrs the parking situation will be crazy.

 

Thats not becuse of elds. That's the elds exposing a problem that has exsisted for decades..
