My old neighbor had bee hives on his farm. I thought I was far enough away ( I was trimming around fence posts with gas powered trimmer) and I got stung 5 times in the face. Right side of my face became swollen and right eye swelled shut.

if allergic to insect bited or concerned I'd look into carrying a Epipen in your med kit. Honey bees attracted to diesel? I'm surprised diesel doesn't kill em. ... how odd
Big Don Thanks this. -
scary...

That is why I suggested the Epipen. You notice that dca also suggested it. There is a reason for that.
Very true. Good reason to LOOK at your propane tank before just grabbing hold of it. I've had bees around my travel trailer's propane, and around the grill propane tank. Just another good reason to check those connections/valves to make sure they are secure.
I've never seen or heard of them being attracted to diesel though. -
I am very allergic and carry a epipenxlsdraw Thanks this.

Only thing that sucks is epipen requires a prescription in Canada. I hate waiting at the doctors. Neccessary evil I guess.

That makes no sense to me either. I think somebody dumped something sweet on the ground.
BTW, @Big Don, I believe the word you were looking for is "tolerance".
-
I'll see that, and raise you this...

'Nuff said.
Nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure. -
