lol heard horror stories about the Dollar General account already, Schneider also offer a large bonus for that dedicated acct. Here's the job I was thinking about at Schneider

That one looks ok, but do you have to unload the carpet and furniture yourself?
Those other ones I listed, except Gemini fuel haulers, can run teams. Doubt they have that huge signing bonus though.

I went ahead and applied for Freymiller, I've seen you recommend them to many others on this forum. Thx!

They indicated primarily no-touch freight, I'm assuming terminal to terminal. Will know more once I talk with the recruiter next Monday (scheduled at 6 AM Phx time!)

Freymiller has tuition reimbursement also. Nice trucks with diesel APU and the mechanics will install a refrigerator.

That sounds like a Watkins-Shepard account. Schneider bought Watkins-Shepard, but that's all I know about it. Watkins-Shepard also has a terminal in Las Vegas.

Thx for the info, definitely don't want to be on contract for a year. I guess I'll break out some credit cards (sigh) . .. SWTDT in Phoenix is definitely 4 weeks (5 if you want to take evening classes) - the Trainco training has an automatic-only version of training that only lasts 2 weeks, for $2995 - but I wanted the extra week for manual training

DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF TRAINING ON A AUTOMATIC AND TESTING OUT ON ONE.
You'll wind up with a automatic restriction on your licence.
(Means you won't be able to legally drive a manual.)

see if there is college that has an agreement with sallie mae. you can get a loan through them and your payments would be really low but call 1st to see which schools they have an agreement with before you even apply cause that hit on your credit report sucks.
