Beginner CPM Expectation

Since you're new to the CDL world, here are some pointers that will keep you out of trouble, and make your experience better:

• Avoid any account/job that services the "dollar" stores: Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, etc. Those jobs are meatgrinders for new CDL holders--leave those accounts to drivers with A LOT more experience.
• Avoid leasing, or lease-purchase agreements, until you've been in trucking at least a few years. Very few lease agreements are really written in favor of the driver, anyway.
• Go ahead, and get ALL those endorsements: tanker, hazmat...and doubles/triples...as soon as is permissible. Those are door-openers, and money-makers. Later on--you'll be glad you did !!!
• Try your very best to stay with your first job/carrier for AT LEAST A YEAR. Longer is of course, even better. Later on--the better jobs go to those drivers with more stable employment histories.

ALL these job recommendations should in fact be good ones. However--if you really want to avoid Atlanta-area traffic as much as possible--my next suggestion would be....to look at AMX, first:
