Beginning my Process with Swift

Regularly scheduled poster here posting back at home. Day 2 was physicals/urine test which is really day 1 but due to the holiday, flip flopped. Long story short, I had heart bypass surgery two years ago. What anyone at Swift failed to tell me PRIOR was that I would need clearance documents signed from my Dr. Why they don't provide this information BEFORE they get you up there is beyond me. What further boggles my mind is my situation could have been resolved in about an hour with a wonderful new invention called the fax machine. But NO, can't do that, policy states you go home to do it but we'll be glad to let you come back after you get it fixed. Arghhhhhhhh! Oh well, just got home today, Greyhound was remarkably more inefficient and late than usual and it took me 25 hours to get back to North Florida from Memphis. Will tackle this issue tomorrow and hopefully get back up there next weekend. As far as the academy goes I'm impressed and look forward to getting back and continuing my endeavors. Thanks for reading. Highflight sorry I didn't see this while in Millington, internet there is not so good at the wonderful Academy 5 star accomodations. Hope you're not there when I return for your sake but if you are will look you up.

 

Got my doctor's clearance finished up today to Swift and a copy to me and now I'm on my way again. Heh. Wish me luck all, leaving tomorrow night again on the Greydog. Look out Millington, here I come! To stay this time!

Heh, Don't own a Gator hat. Lived in AL for the past six years up til Feb. and grew rather fond of the Tide.

 

Well, made it back up to Millington. Met boommm78 and we ended up room mates. Had another guy in from Tallahassee so now three Florida boys in class 722. Here we go.
