ah man, that sucks! lol Well good luck Wedge, i hope you find something that you enjoy doing.
American TruckerWedge Thanks this. -
Wedge I hope that hanging up your logbook does not mean you won't stay on TTR and continue to post and contribute. You still have your CDL A and you may find a job in the driving industry maybe just not OTR. No matter what your thread and contribution to other newbies in the last year are invaluable!!!
Hey I am not a driver and I still hang out with ya all!!!!!! -
-
Maybe I can still provide some useful information for the driver soon-to-be.sammycat Thanks this. -
of course you can Wedge.
Just the processes and hoops that you have jumped through to get to this point today from last fall are to me, invaluable to someone considering getting their CDL A. Your experience can speak volumes.
Keep on keeping on on TTR cuz some day my friend you and I WILL MEET for coffee or what ever or even it's in Vegas when Dave and I ever get there....the whole crowd is invited!!!ps we will go broke buying everyone drinks but think of the FUN WE WILL all have!!!
Wedge Thanks this. -
Nobody's getting out the coffee and whatever part. And if there's an invite, I'll do my best to get there.sammycat Thanks this. -
Wedge
so any ideas yet of what you might do now?Wedge Thanks this. -
Wedge even though we never had the chance to chat I fully understand where you're at in life and I wish you nothing but the best going forward....
Wedge Thanks this. -
I just happened to be sitting around on Friday wondering what I was going to do with my life when I remembered the immortal words of Socrates who said.............."I drank what?"
What the heck was I thinking?
I got in touch with my recruiter at U.S. Xpress and asked if I could return to orientation and continue with my training. She said definitely! And, there's a good chance that I won't have to do the driving test or re-take the DOT, seeing as I just did that a week ago.
So after talking it out at home, I'm ready to head back to orientation. With luck, I'll get into this Wednesday's class.
Time to take that log book off the shelf.American-Trucker, sammycat, wulfman75 and 1 other person Thank this.
