I know Loves had them on sale not sure if it ended on the 30th or not. They were 69 bucks. Think it was a 20 dollar mail in rebate though.

Every truck stop I've been to has them. So you can find one easily.

    Hello Everyone. :biggrin_25511:

After an enjoyable 4th of July weekend, I finally spoke with my trainer tonight. Sounds like a nice guy. The plan is to be on the road by the weekend. He'll contact me on Thursday to finalize the details.

I'm all packed and ready to go (actually I've been packed and ready for a week :biggrin_2559:).

I can't wait to get moving.

    Thanks for reading.

    Hello Everyone. :biggrin_25511:

Sorry I've been absent from TTR but that's because I'm on the road training. :yes2557:

I've got a great trainer this time and things are going great. I have about 45 hours behind the wheel up to this point. Right now I'm at a Peterbilt dealership having repairs done to the truck (blown air bag :biggrin_2555:). That happened yesterday as I was backing up to a dock dropping off a beer load.

It was first thing in the morning. We wasted a lot of time trying to find an air bag. We ended up dropping the box and bobtailing 90 miles.

The best part is I get to do all the driving. :biggrin_25519:

I'll have more time to update next week when we switch to Super Solo.

That's all for now.........Oh ........Hey AT, I did a furniture load with 2 stops, TN and Daytona Beach!!!!!!

    Thanks for reading.

    Thanks Lady K. :biggrin_25514:

Sitting here waiting for the truck to be repaired is no fun. I may get training pay, but my trainer is a L/O and he gets no beak down pay and, of course, the truck's not making a dime.

I hope I get a chance to meet you and Klingon out here. Things will settle down as soon as my training is completed.

I've been reading about your leasing adventure. Hang in there and ty to adapt the best you can. You'll get it sorted out. Just make sure you keep adding to that rainy day fund. You never know when you'll need to get something fixed.

    Take care, you guys.
