I was sold on the table, interior space and turning radius. Besides, it won't matter because they're rotating all of these trucks out of the fleet. Next one will be a Cascadia, or KW with a 10 spd.

it'd start bugging the truck issuer for a KW asap, if they are t660's otherwise take the cascaidia.

T700's are fugly lol, but i hear they are like the T2000 inside LOTS of room lol

    Wedge that's great!!

Are you going to be doing D and H or dedicated runs or what?
My neighbor's boyfriend works for USX -lately he's out for the week and home weekends. Luckily Rochester has a secure drop lot for USX (US Global) to drop the trailer and he can bobtail home. He said he has been getting good miles!!

Let me know if you get up this way cuz except for ALMOST meeting AT (couldn't leave my job and he was about 30 miles from me in the finger lakes) I haven't met anyone yet!!!!!:biggrin_25513:

First chance you get, swap out of that Volvo. Odds are it will cause you frustration with breakdowns and problems. Frieghtliner is good because of more repair places. (Are the TA's still service dealers?)

Congrats Wedge! Killer job buddy! A friend of mine works for them and said that they are switching the entire fleet over to manuals so you won't have to worry about it much longer. Although they are nice in traffic they scare the hell out of me in the mountains! None the less, great job man! You will have to start a new thread now that you are finally rollin! "Where in the World is Wedge!" Keep us up to date man and DRIVE SAFE!!!!

    Hello Everyone. :biggrin_25511:

Just straightened out the computer woes and I'm back on line. :biggrin_255:

So the first load I get to deliver I have to do a blindside 90 deg alley dock. :biggrin_2552: One correction, one pull-up and it was in the pipe. I hate it when people are watching too. :biggrin_25513:

I've been running at a steady pace. My FM is cool and has 12 yrs. experience. Leading me carefully through the shark infested waters. So far everything is good.

Had my first breakdown. Air bags would re-fill after dumping the air to unload a 41K load. That night was spent at the shipper's yard in Alabama. After mobile truck repair swapped out the control valve I was out of there heading north.

Right now I'm 30 minutes away from the shipper in PA......a good nights sleep for a change.

There's a rumor that I'll be getting a load to Johnstown NY, but I haven't seen the pre plan yet. (that close enough Sammycat?)

This is my first 1000 mile run. I'm having fun out here.

Have the truck set up almost they way I want it. Gonna set up the XBOX and DVD player tonight now that I have some time.

    Well, that's it for now.

    Thanks for reading.
