Beginning the Long Awaited CDL Process

Have to shoot you my email! #### wish I knew you were coming thru! Have been super busy the past couple weeks! Its horse show season. I would have tried to sneak away to meet with you though. Could have picked you up and gone to the beach for some frimps! I'll send you a "pm" with some contact info. Just give me a heads up when your coming to FL and we'll hang for a few!

Any of you all come to FL be careful! There are lots of wild fires accompanied by heavy fog and light to no winds! Really bad, bad car pile up on 75 by the petro (north of Gainsville) Ten people died! This happened like Sat or Sun and just yesterday they found another body they didn't realize in the mangled burnt wreckage! Crazy man!

Ya Wedge I'm bout 15-20 miles west of Ormond. I'm in Deleon Springs/Deland. There is a 5 mile road that connect highway 17 to highway 11 and I'm in the middle. Runs parallel to 40. A lot of Central drivers come through this little town because they pick up juice from Country side which is a mile up the road.

Course if you do come by Wedge I may jump in the truck with you! Ready to do some drivin!

Great to hear from you man, sounds like you have been running pretty good. Like you said, its good to have a little breakdown time or maintenance time so you can do some laundry and shopping. Makes you feel less guilty when its forced upon you!

Yes its been nice and warm down here! I absolutely love this winter because it really hasn' t been cold but a few days. I've been surfing at least 3-4 days a week and even the water has been staying in the high 60's to low 70's! Its weird though because everything is blooming like its spring. I'll take it!!! I love hot weather!

Wish I could go to Florida Chompi -actually my parents are 'snowbirds' and stay in Lake Placid for 3 months (plus the drive leave after Xmas get home first week April) but the airfare is HIGH this year!! Enjoy- I can't think about swimming until uhmmmmm maybe JULY!!!!!

It was a good game! Exciting! I am neither a Giants or Pats fan but was routing for the Giants (NE has won tooo many times and is in the AFC east with Buffalo soooo I don't like them!)

Commercials not so great this year only a few good ones.

I, being a Wannabe, didn't know of this booklet, so thanks. I just took my CDL tests and passed them all. CDL A, Air Brakes, Coupling, Doubles and Triples, HazMat, and Tankers. I also did my fingerprinting and got my DOT Physical out of the way. I received my HazMat clearance so I am ready. I am going to school starting the first week of March.

Just wondering how you are doing and if you are still happy about "trucking". As I stated above I am ready to go. I just wanted to wait until after the snow. It should be done by the time I am out of school the last of March or the start of April.
Any last minute thoughts or advice for me?
