Hello Everyone.
Made it to the receiver in Ft Collins, CO by 1300 local time, an hour early, and that they loved. They had me at a dock in 30 minutes time (this place was jumping) and unloaded by 1430. Couldn't ask for more.....well, a drop and hook would have been nice.
So this weeks mileage total will be 3189, and that includes the 34 hour reset. Most of my trips were in the 300-500 mile range, and this trip from GA to CO added 1336 to that total...........sweet.
I'm spending the night in Loveland, CO waiting for the planners to start routing me back east. I have home time coming up next week and getting runs that have me end up in the Atlanta area can be a challenge. Hope they get me moving quick. I want to get down off of this high plain before any weather moves in.
Guess it's time to eat and plug in a movie.
Thanks for reading.

The best laid plans.............
This TS in Loveland, CO was beginning to look like a USX terminal. As of last nights count there were 12 of us here. We apparently come out this way quite a bit.
I have been waiting at this TS long enough to get another 34 hr reset. Didn't really need it, but not much freight is moving out of this area, or so it seems.
At least three of us received load assignments to pick up at the Anheuser Bush plant and deliver to a DC in Tulsa, OK. We agreed to run together as our pick up and delivery appointments were the same.
We left the TS this morning at 0415 local time for the 15 mile hop to the shipper. And as it turns out, 2 of the 3 loads were canceled, one of those was mine.................dang. The other driver, who lost his load also happens to be trying to get home this coming week for his home time break. And it turns out he lives near me in GA.
So the two of us head back to the TS to wait on dispatch.
30 minutes later, my fellow USX driver gets a dispatch that will get him east to St. Louis.
And me.......well......I'm still waiting for mine.
That's it for now.
Thanks for reading.

They've got plenty of freight. Maybe too much. I haven't stopped since being back out. I made an error calculating my miles for last week. My paid miles were 3349, not 3189. I forgot to include the empty miles.
I'm not sure what happened with the load at Bush, but it's in the past now. They dispatched me from Ft Collins with a furniture load that has my final stop in Syracuse, NY, 1732 paid miles. It was a D/H at the shipper and I've stopped for the night in Junction City, KS. I get to have dinner with my son.
Hey Sammycat.......you paying attention? ...........Got that coffee ready?
I'm coming to Rochester!.
My first stop is in Mansfield, OH, live unload and then I'll head north to NY.
On the downside, my home time is set for Thursday. I'll have to see how they get me out of NY.
Daytona........almost forgot. I'm going to do something about TV for this truck. I'm getting tired of movies. -
get the $19 Digital Antenna like i have they sell it at loves cheaper then best buy.
If you have Dish or Direct TV at home, you can get a used satilite and a poll and take one of your boxes and cards from home and use it on the road, just set it up and use it, and put it back inside when you go to sleep, or you can mount PVC pipe like some guys do to the mirror braket and just set it on it when you wanna use it.
OR if you wanna go crazy ( i wouldnt recomend this as USX seems to move you from truck to truck allot) but you could get a Vue Cube
AND OR get satilite radio like i just did, i donno how Listening to the race is gonna go but i'm gonna give it a shot

YEAH that is GREAT Wedge!!!
I think I PMed you my cell number but I will again. I hope you get a chance to stop here as I ''almost'' met AT a while back (he was about 30 miles away from Rochester) but it was during work hours!! I work until 1700.
Let me know what's up!!!!!!!Wedge Thanks this.
