    Forward Motion. :biggrin_25511:

    Hello Everyone.

My doctor has come up with an instrument that will considerably increase my hearing while in training. The device is called a "High Definition Digital Wireless FM Hearing System". Basically, it allows me to hear my trainers instructions by sending signals directly into the hearing aid, and the device has a range of 25 meters. This device will compensate for the poor hearing that I have in the ear that faces the trainer while I'm driving.

One very interesting benefit of this device is the trainer can stand at the end of the trailer and communicate instructions to me verbally. Granted, it's a one way conversation but the important thing is this device will make it easy to receive instruction during training. :biggrin_2558:

I placed the order today and should have it in just under a week.

The new hearing aids through Voc. Rehab. is still in the works. I have an appointment with them on Monday.

I wanted to keep you up to date. :biggrin_255:

    Thanks for reading.

At least it's something positive. Best combination would be to replace the hearing aids at the same time.

Hopefully I can expedite this matter and get back on the road.

Lady K and sammycat Thank this.

I guess some of my frustration is due to the fact that my cousin, who didn't have his CDL A when I left with my trainer, is now on the road with his trainer.:biggrin_2556: He's also driving for Central.

    Go figure. :biggrin_2552:

Dont worry about that..I had 2 classmates from Katlaw that had 2 weeks on me.They were going to team at Roehl and had already got a oreintation date..I passed 1 of them in Marshfeild and she said they were testing her out the nxt day..She asked me and I told her i had my 1st load and truck..It happens very common.
