    Thanks AZS.

All I can do is stay positive. It is what it is. How are you doing with your ride?

Good. Well the truck is, still trying to find out where I'm going today. Either CA or TX. I would prefer the latter!

    Wedge Thanks this.

Would it help to call and ask what's up?? I think I would be SO frustrated in your shoes. I'm still sending good thoughts your way!!

After 3 e-mails, I placed a call to my recruiter to find out the story. I was told that I would be called back. That was last Tuesday. So here I wait.

Frustrating? Yep. Friends are calling and asking me why I'm home.

I appreciate your kind thoughts. Hopefully I'll hear something this week.

First, I've got to play this one to the end, AT. It's only fair.

Fair?? How many emails have you sent, how many phone calls have you made, and how long have you been out of work while waiting for a response?

If you don't mind my asking, who paid for your new hearing aids so you could hear your trainer mumble louder? Central?

    Wedge Thanks this.

E-mail is great, for certain things.

This matter is much to important, and deserves nothing less than a phone call.

Face to face would be best, but I understand that isn't always possible.

1 Business day is plenty, this IS trucking, so give them 2 business days.

No response by then, in my book indicates their response, ..................

Thank them and move on !!!!!

    Good Luck !!

I can't argue any of the points you raise. I have done what I was asked to do. My time home is indeed costly. I will begin exploring "alternatives" if Central doesn't respond soon.

The cost of replacement hearing aids unfortunately falls squarely on my shoulders.
