Yeah I heard the sirens go off at midnight, I was staying up to make sure nothing happened. Went online and saw that it was for Northern Hall county and since it wasnt even raining here wasn't too worried about it.
Had to drive up to the house in north hall to check on it and no damages. I think my brother was wishing it went to the land of oz though lol.

    As for an update:

After I've had a chance to spend some time with my son, I'll be ready to hit the road.......hopefully.

I've been stocking up on my supplies that I'll need on the road. I'll be in touch with Central this up coming week to see what hoop I have to jump through next. Most likely another DOT, but hey, that's the way it goes.

    Hello everyone. :biggrin_25511:

This is just a quick post to let you know I haven't fallen off the edge of the planet.

My son, who just returned from Iraq, is visiting for two weeks so I've been busy. For my birthday, he took me to the military museum in Toccoa, GA (this was one the training camps for "Easy Company" portrayed in the mini-series "Band of Brothers"). There isn't too much of the original camp left, but still, it's a place of honor, and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to visit the site. :biggrin_25514:

I have a call in to Central and have requested to be put back into the training program. I'll be following up later today.

    That's all I have for now. :biggrin_25525:

    Thanks for reading.
