Once you’ve graduated from Cypress Truck School and obtained your CDL-A. Cypress will then hire you on as a driver, and you’ll be assigned your own truck.

Soon as you can, go on down to Florida and switch your drivers license to Florida and use one of your relatives address.

 

I applied at Cypress… they seem OTR. Gonna wait til they call as I’m sure they’re super busy with the hurricane but I was trying to figure out if I can transfer CDL permits from state to state? Can’t figure that one out. Some sites say you can and some say no.

 

Some companies want you to have a Permit from your state and some will let you get a Permit from the state the school is in.
I think Cypress is mostly Southeast Regional and Texas.
