My desire for being a trainer is to teach others all the things I have had to learn on my own....my trainer basically taught me to get the load and get it there.....very few of the "finer" points of the business.

I don't need to every worry about getting a "Billy Big Rigger" because I will only train women. There are certain things in my life that are not conducive to having a male on the truck.

As far as the stick shifts go, USX has no plans to go to all standard transmissions. Got that straight from the head mechanic here at the Markham terminal tonight.

Anne, I hope you get someone soon.

There are many rewards for training. But the simple fact is there will be times you have to sleep while that trainee drives. Your life is in an inexperienced hands. So many trainers have been killed in the past. I don't need the money that bad to be put in that predicament. I trust me and only me when it comes to driving a big rig.

I had a female trainer when I started. She taught me well.
