Companies have to call former employers to verify actual experience.

The two worst situations is "fired for violating company policy" and "ineligible for rehire."

Truck drivers are a dime a dozen. Most companies will pass on those two.

I only put down my one CDL driving job with Prime. They asked me about good work history. I told them; yes and no. First I had 18 years with the same company. A large corporation. Along with 7 driving. Shows stability in the work place. In between. I almost died from diabetes. It caused weight loss. To rehabilitate, I did low level, highly physical jobs. Working with, and for low level people. They were awful. All they did was fight. Everything happened, including my walking out. I went to driving to get a decent job. Been doing that ever since for 7 years. I lost the driving job to basically being laid off. New owner didn't want me. I use the Old Owner and Supervisor of that driving job for references. Go talk to them.... Prime was very happy with that.
I have also told companies about my two stable jobs. Then told them about the low level jobs. Told them if they talked to those. They would think my name is Cybil (the multi personality girl). That is because of them, not me. I can't do anything about them. That's their problem.

cant get a job in trucking because he was fired from a factory job he held for 13 years ? find that hard to believe. If that company says anything derogatory, can sue the #### out of them.

Getting fired is a big No-No.
Very difficult to find employment after that
