Rabbi,Rabbi,Rabbi, why is it everytime a member posts a favorable review or endorsement of a cb shop or technician you make it your personal angenda to challenge that post and once again hype up Harddrive? The subject matter of the thread is Bells cb not Harddrive. It is well documented on this forum who your favorite tech is, and from listening to your recordings ( videos if you may) and hearing Mark on skip his radios sound excellent hifi quality audio for sure, but you should know , based on your experience, that truck drivers dont necessarily desire hifi audio, instead like a radio that has loud, obnoxious, in your face, booming audio for medium range communication, not interested in talking 45 miles on another channel other than 19 just to see if it can be done. I am not defending Bells, have never had a radio from him, and I have read his website, and he likes to turn up modulation above 100% and allow the operater to adjust it with mic gain which is hit or miss, but I do know drivers like the convenience of being able to walk in, or order online, to have a service performed, which is much easier than jumping through multiple hoops on facebook. Once again your endorsement of Mark is well documented on this forum and you have your reasons to do so, just dont understand why you feel the need to question another members positive remarks that he or she may have of a teck or shop that they are pleased and satisfied with.bored silly and Ougigoug Thank this.

Never mentioned any names. Simply want to make sure customers know they are getting ripped of if I am unable to understand what they are saying. Nothing sucks more than paying for a service and having someone ask 10-9?
I enjoy clarity and I'd love to hear more examples from other techs.Ougigoug and wolverine11 Thank this. -
Well you didnt have to mention a name , you responded to a favorable post about bells so its quite obvious you are challenging his work, but it is noble of you to concern yourself with others getting ripped, once again its a shame that the tech that you endorse is not more accessible to us all.Last edited: May 18, 2017

Talk is cheap. Many of us would like to know how we would sound before spending our money. Recordings would help us make an informed choice.

You know Bells has plenty of videos on youtube for every radio that he has tuned. In reference to your comment about audio clarity, I too, as Ive gotten older, prefer the sound of crystal clear audio instead if loud raspy, over distorted audio with tons of unecessary echo, not imply that Bells radios sound like that, it is just plain and simple easier to understand, give me the audio sound of a stock Cobra 29 ltd or Bearcat 980 anytime vs some of the splatter boxes we all hear out here, the shame of it though is that the operater thinks the radio sounds good.Last edited: May 18, 2017
