Is that the super penetrator 500? I think it’s the best cb vertical antenna ever made.
-
Here's a pic, the shop is 25ft tall at the peak, it's a Sirio Gain master antenna
rabbiporkchop and Slowmover1 Thank this. -
Ah, okay. I’ve never owned a Sirio antenna. Sounds like it’s doing a great job for you. -
-
Sounds like a good recommendation to me. Thx

Compliments should be taken with a grain of salt, and pay attention to who is giving those compliments and what their motivation is. If a guy on an
Icom-7000 compliments you on being within 1/2 a hertz off frequency but the nicest audio he ever heard on SSB, you might be able to accept his compliment at face value. If the local Joe Schmo that just won a key down at Manchester compliments you on your loud audio chances are pretty good he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about and it's easy to discredit his opinion. Some opinions are worth more than others. -
I measured it with 35+ years experience talking on more CB than I can even remember or count
And how is he going to fix my radio if he doesn't know how to use the equipment that he has??... that's what you claim
Double eye roll -
Lot of guys can use this and follow a service manual to get you roughly in the ballpark by twisting a couple screws.
(Hence the term "golden screwdriver")
Bell isn't one of them. He hasn't reached that status yet. If you knew how to read a scope like lots of people in this forum you would understand.

I don't have a speaker wire issue the whole radio is out of whack and off frequency, I'm pretty sure you're going to need more than a multimeter to fix that, have you even ever been to Bells CB and met the guy? or do you just trash talk him because of your love for the Looney Tune?
