There are thousands of them. Neither you nor I know who those people are. It takes one complete moron to spread lies about an unpleasant experience after inadvertently shorting out his pl259 to the positive post of a power supply and then trying to blame someone else for his stupid mistake. Most happy customers disappear and you never hear from them ever again.

That's pretty much what I got going on with my Cheap Chinese radio no thanks to the manufacturer since it wasn't anywhere close right out of the box.

I agree is is not the most savy of people but has good intentions..
Yes he has quirks n such and things and by no means much of a people person but he can surprize you..I personally still think he is a bethoven with radios...Im sure ya all will dispute that remark lol...

He has called me a few times (an hr long two way chat or more)and bs ed about general life then went into tech mode and with his background talked wayyyyy over my head in techy stuff...Again he has good intentions but it doesnt always show...
His prices are a lil high but somewhat understandable in some respect but totally nuts in others...He does go deeper into his tunes and mods than most techs do..As we all know many just tune for wide open unuseable power to impress the meter watchers and chest puffers...
So in that respect i applaud his work and results....
I didnt like how he talked about me to another customer in a negitive way when he gets upset when you make a constructive comment on his channel or general comments annoy him,cant have it both ways......

Bottom line for me is that i would buy again but he has sence "NOT" to do business with me based on above mentions....

Another thing that bugs the crap outta me is that he couldnt,wouldnt tell me himself..It tooks months and he did it through another person,man up mark..

I had much respect for the man and his work and even considered a somewhat of a friend but it went in the crapper when above events surfaced...

Solely for that he deserves no respect..
I personally dont care about his past if rumors are true,or how many times he moved or how he enjoys a quiet life with his dog( mofo as far as i know is a rescue dog and i respect the crap outta anyone who saves a life).....
Maybe i dont get 60-80 mi outta my set up like some vids show and others claim(without an amp)but thats likely my doings...
I know there is a boat load to learn and im barely scratching the surface when it comes to the ant side which i favor over radio know how..There is just so much that works for one and not the other while everyone boasts they are right...

Many situations may look the same but charactics of two identical cars,trucks ect are not so thats where someone who can idientify the ossue helps....Me i dont have much of that around my area so i tey and learn on my own.....

To end my lil comment(lol)mark is not everyones cup of tea,i personally think he is a hell of a tech but not so much in other areas of life BUT to each is own and you cant make said people out to be good or bad just cause they dont follow your path..

As for the other tuner in this thread,never used him,i cant read scopes so i dont know if he is full of it or not,his site is pretty good but i dont get a vibe that makes me believe he can make me smile about my radio vs any other tech....

Who ever ya all use as a tech,what radio you buy and how far you get is partly to do with conditions and how good your ant set up is..Just be happy with your decision and results..No need for name calling or crapping all over other techs n such...
Like ya hear on the radio at every trk stop when tensions get hot "Cant we all just be friends"?
